For nearly two decades, Tristan Beaton has been elbow-deep in heavy equipment—long before Beaton Mechanical became official on paper in 2015. That experience shows. Today, we’re the shop folks count on when their machines can’t let them down. We’re a hands-on crew with the right tools, the right know-how, and the kind of skill you only earn by doing the work, day after day.
We keep things straightforward: fix what’s broken, stand behind the work, and get you back up and running with as little downtime as possible. From heavy equipment repairs in the yard to diesel engine rebuilds, marine transmission rebuilds, AC service and diagnostics, and the truck and trailer work you see in our photos—we handle the big jobs and the urgent ones with the same level of care.
Our main shop in Port Hastings, just minutes from the Canso Causeway, is built for the tough work. And when the job can’t come to us, we head out to you. With a fleet of well-stocked service trucks, our crew tackles on-site repairs across the Atlantic provinces—day or night.
If it rolls out of our shop, a senior tech has signed off on it.
